Company Profile


Stan Stamatellis began plumbing in 1988, and established Deepwater plumbing in 1996. In 2010 Stan began a partnership with Wayne Mitchell with a background in building and architecture. They formed WS Benchmark & Building Services Pty Ltd, this expanded Stan’s knowledge base from plumbing into the electrical services, fire services, project management and building maintenance industries, this included building reporting and remedial building works.

In 2016 Stan Deep Water Plumbing and Maintenance Pty Ltd trading as Deep Water Plumbing Fire, Electrical and Maintenance began..
We understand that our employees are the face of our company and therefore take immense responsibility in how they represent us.

The company is now involved in residential and commercial construction projects, and are now established as a member of the Fire Protection Association Australia and have extensive experience in the fire services industry, electrical fitouts, including design, commissioning and testing.

We also have Building Services managing experience, including managing, controlling, tracking and monitoring mechanical, electrical, and lighting, as well as heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) equipment.

We also have experience working with NSW Land and Housing Corporation with a $1M Hydraulic refurbishment at 55 Morehead St, Redfern and various bathroom upgrades.

We have also completed Hydraulic services reports for NSW Land and Housing Corporation in both Lake Illawarra and Canberra, this involved asset reporting and extensive CCTV camera works.

We have the experience to design, implement and test residential construction and maintenance projects to larger commercial infrastructure and building management systems projects.

Occupational Health and Safety

We have a fully compliant Occupational Health and Safety System in place with the relevant insurances.

At DEEP WATER PLUMBING the health and safety of our plumbers, drain cleaners and our clients is priority number one. This priority extends into our workplace in the following ways:

We are fully compliant with all NSW Occupational Health and Safety practices

All our licensed plumbers have current industry specific green cards and have gone through a safety induction process prior to working for DEEP WATER PLUMBING

All our staff are constantly briefed on current NSW and Australian safe work practices and are all required to continually update their qualifications
